2011 NHRA Summer Nationals at Heartland Park Topeka

Here are a few images of the 2011 NHRA Summer Nationals at Heartland Park Topeka. This track is only minutes from my house so I always enjoy the opportunity to get a little rubber in my hair, have some nitro burn the nostrils and shoot a few really REALLY fast cars.

Thanks for looking!

Iowa State at Kansas State - Men's Basketball

K-State seniors Curtis Kelly and Jacob Pullen were recognized at the last home game of the 2010-11 season on Saturday, March 5, 2011 in Manhattan. It was a crazy season with all kinds of drama, twists and turns, but through it all I'm proud to have had the opportunity to shoot these two guys during their time at K-State.

Kansas at Kansas State - Men's Basketball

The Kansas Jayhawks were ranked number one for all of about seven hours before they lost to Kansas State, 84-68, in an ESPN Big Monday showdown in Manhattan.

I must say, this was maybe one of the most fun events I've shot, however I'm not entirely pleased with my "take" from the game.

Baylor at Kansas State - Men's Basketball

Here are a few images from the Baylor at Kansas State men's basketball game on Monday, January 24, 2011 in Manhattan, Kan. I shot more wide-angle than I usually do and think I liked the change in perspective. Definitely helped with action right under the basket and right in front of me on the baseline.

Texas Tech at Kansas State - Men's Basketball

Been a while since I've posted, but I finally have some time to post a few from tonight's Big 12 match-up between Texas Tech and Kansas State. K-State won the game rather handily, 94-60.

Thanks for looking.

Texas at Kansas State (Big 12 Football)

The final home game of the 2010 football season at Kansas State matched up the Wildcats with the Texas Longhorns from the Big 12 South Division. The Wildcats dominated from the opening kick-off when William Powell returned the kick-off 62 yards. Daniel Thomas scored on the first play from the scrimmage and the game was pretty much K-State's the rest of the night. Strangest thing I've seen...K-State was only 2-4 passing with nine yards. Nine passing yards! Crazy. Like Bill Snyder said, why pass the ball if the running game was working.

Here are a few images from the game. Thanks for looking.
